My favourite thing is creating magic. There is very little that I enjoy more than creating little pockets of whimsy with my favourites. Sparrow and Wren never fail to make my heart happy.

Sparrow is exceedingly good at creating things that look exactly like her sketches. This was no exception, though none of us planned for the magical golden hour shadow play - for that, we thank Sparrow's mum, who saw the gorgeous shadows on the curtains and called us inside. After about 10 minutes of shooting, the sun had moved and the magic was over. We were incredibly lucky.

Some of my favourite shoots occur in Sparrow's back garden, when we're not planning on anything extravagant but want to create anyway. Wren (beautiful, wonderful, lovely Wren) becomes something from a different realm, and the light somehow does exactly what I would like it to do.
