Yesterday (keen, I know), I had the absolute pleasure of attending Thomas Oscar Miles' first ever conceptual photography workshop alongside Katie Howey and Caroline Victoria, featuring the incredible talents of Nicolé Dawn Makeup Artist and Miss Rosie Lea. This is just the first of several looks and setups, which I shall be sharing in between other shoots I've been doing recently (I have so much in my editing pile, it's incredibly exciting).
If you get the chance to attend a workshop with Tom, do it. Do it, do it, do it. It's so inspiring to see how he sets up his shots and how he works with his team (the chemistry between them is wonderful to watch). Not to mention, he brings his A-Game when it comes to costumes. I covet the entire rail. This particular dress was on loan from General Guerisse.
It was so lovely to be surrounded by a group of like-minded people. This was the first workshop I have ever attended and I feel like I now have the bug. I want to go to ALL OF THE WORKSHOPS (money, be damned!). (Actually, money, wait... I need you... come back.) Everyone bounced off each other's ideas and there was a really great sense of collaboration, which is wonderful. I am ridiculously inspired.
