Sometimes ideas float around in my head for a while and turn out differently than I expect and not necessarily in a bad way. This is one of those ideas, and I will be revisiting it again in the future.

I shot this while Sparrow was prepping our lovely model, Nadine (who you will be 'meeting' soon - and I am so excited!), between shoots on our mega photoshoot day on May 26th. I wandered a little way off with my tripod and shot a few images. I am slowly gaining confidence in shooting on my own around strangers, I may always be awkward but I hope to one day be awkward with at least a little bit of ease.

I'm trying to embrace showing pictures to the world where I enjoy the concept and the image but am less confident in my appearance or where the image isn't necessarily flattering. I am trying to see myself as part of my work, rather than just the reflection I see in the mirror.
